The Globe is a seasonal magazine used by Ledcor to communicate to it’s worldwide network of clients and employees what it’s been up to. I had already designed couple issued of the magazine when I was approached to work on a special edition for the company’s 65th anniversary. It needed to reflect the company’s history, growing from two Alberta boys working a tractorto an multinational company building everything from luxury restaurants, to highways, to the global network of fiber-optic cables that you’re using to browse the internet right now (woah). We created a timeline-inspired layout that fit the company’s branding, but kicked it up a bit to make the piece feel unique among the other issues of The Globe.
